Information / 5 Things you Need to know about
« on: September 23, 2016, 09:09:00 pm »
This took me 3 Hours to make, so please, join the Forum :)

First of all, is about Controls, Here is what you need to know about Controls:

Left Click - Select / Target (ex: Left Click one of your Inventory Slot to Select the Item / Left Click the Ground while a Shovel is Selected to Dig / Left Click someone to Target him, Only in Combat Mode)
Right Click - Action 2 (ex: Right Click a Desk to see what's inside / Right Click someone to see their Profile / Right Click any Storage to see what's inside)
WASD - Move (ex: Press W to go Up / Press S to go Down and so on...)
Space - Switch to Combat Mode (ex: Press space to enter Combat Mode, where you fight people, Target them using Left Click / Press space again to leave Combat Mode)

Those are the Basic Controls you need to know, here are the Others:

Q - Recruit (ex: Press Q while pointing at someone to Hire them, they will fight for you, their Opinion must be Above 80 in order to do this on them)
1~6 - Item Selecting Shortcut (ex: Press 1 to Select the first item that's in your Inventory)
F1 - Help (ex: Press F1 to show Info about pretty much everything you need to know)
ESC - Menu (ex: Press ESC to Pause)

If you need any more Info, just Press F1, and you should find just enough Info you need to know

Second of all, is about Solitary, Here are what you need to know about Solitary:

Common Reasons you got sent to Solitary:

Guard finding you not in your cell after Lights Out
Backup arriving during a Lockdown
Uncovered holes in the ground, walls, fences, cell bars and vents (Unfinised holes on the ground count)
Being seen outside your cell after they lock shut (after all inmates are inside their cells during Lights Out)
Contraband being found during a Shakedown
Guard waking up while you still have their Key
Guard finding Dirt or Wall Block placed on the ground
Guard finding contraband in flooded Toilets
Being caught by a Spotlight while on the roof after Lights Out
Fences cut open and holes in the ground being seen by Tower Guards when they arrive at Morning Rollcall
Attempt to do a Prison Takeover and fail

While you're in Solitary, you'll skip three days and all of your skills will be decreased by 10 / All Contraband items that you've placed in the prison will be confiscated, as well as all holes in your cell plugged and all broken/chipped walls (even covered with posters) removed
Avoid doing any of the Above, or else your going to Solitary

Third of all, is about Prisons, Here is about the 6 Prisons you can play on:

Center Perks, currently the easiest prison in the game
It includes a fully integrated ventilation system, 5 Job options, (Janitor, Laundry, Kitchen, Mailman, Metalshop), and a lenient schedule with lots of free time
Unique things: Contraband detector in job area, ventilation, prisoners love you (Usually 50+ opinion)

Starting job: Laundry

Stalag Flucht, an easy prison in the game
It houses two inmates per cell, has 5 Job options, (Gardening, Tailor, Library, Woodshop, Unloading), and enough free time to make yourself feel half comfortable
Unique things: No ventilation, outside prison, contraband detector in job area, and two inmates per cell
Starting job: Gardening

Shankton State Pen, a moderate prison in the game
It houses one inmate per cell, has 5 Job options, (Janitor, Laundry, Kitchen, Woodshop, Metalshop), and medium amounts of free time
Unique things: Ventilation, searchlights on roofs at night, contraband detectors needed to pass through unless going out the front way or going to read, and the start of three roll calls
Starting job: Janitor

Jungle Compound, a moderate prison in the game
It houses two inmates per cell, has 5 Job options, (Gardening, Tailor, Laundry, Library, Mailman), and medium amounts of free time
Unique things: Outside prison, contraband detector that is in a place where you can only go to your cell and shower without going through it, patrol jeep, ID papers (found in the place guards sleep), guard check point( need signed ID papers to pass through), and 11 prisoners (including you)
Starting job: Gardening

San Pancho, a hard prison in the game
It houses 4 inmates per cell, has 5 Job options, (Gardening, Tailor, Library, Kitchen, Unloading), and few amounts of free time
Unique things: Outside prison, 4 prisoners per cell, NO contraband detectors, guards only go in when they need to and only to the place they need to go, minefield, patrol jeeps, and 19 prisoners (including you / One desk is unoccupied)
Starting job: Gardening

HMP-Irongate, currently the hardest prison in the game
It houses 1 inmate per cell with a security camera in each cell, has 5 Job options, (Janitor, Mailman, Woodshop, Unloading, Metalshop), and minimal amounts of free time
Unique things: Camera in each cell, Ventilation, Guards with One-Hit K.O. stun batons, Zip line, Increased amount of contraband detectors, bed time at 19:00, A moat of water (Requiring a make shift raft to escape)
Starting job: Janitor

Fourth of all, is about Keys, Here is what you need to know about Keys:

Every type of key opens another set of doors
Every guard randomly carries one of the five keys with them
The key will always be carried by the same guard
You can knock out guards to steal their keys
A Cup of Molten Chocolate can one-shot a Guard which can be useful to quickly take their stuff if you have low health
Make a copy of that key away from a Wad of Putty and return the key back to guard's inventory
If the guard wakes up and he doesn't have his key, you will be sent to solitary

Be sure to make note of which guards have which key
You can find out what number the guards have by writing down the guard order when naming your people or by simply giving the first 5 guards a specific name to recognize them
For example, the first guard on the naming screen is always guard number 1 with the cell key and so on
You can also call them Officer Cell, and so on

First Guard: Cell Key (Yellow)
Second Guard: Utility Key (Orange)
Third Guard: Entrance Key (Purple)
Fourth Guard: Staff Key (Red)
Fifth Guard: Work Key (Green)

Plastic Keys are contraband and they are made with a Key Mold and Molten Plastic
